Coffee Mugs made by Lifetime Brands Fitz and Floyd Nevaeh White Can Mugs and sold by Bed Bath & Beyond cause a serious risk of both lacerations and scalding burns. These products are defectively designed and manufactured, causing them to break when filled with hot coffee or tea. This poses a serious risk of scalds and cuts. At this time, approximately 150,000 mugs recalled.
The mugs were sold individually and as part of a 4-piece dinnerware set. The mugs can hold 15 ounces and measure about four inches tall and about four inches in diameter. They have a handle and look like a traditional coffee mug. On the bottom of the white mug, it says Nevaeh White by Fitz and Floyd, Fine Bone China, Dishwasher/Microwave/Oven Safe. On the bottom of the gold mug, it says Navaeh White by Fitz and Floyd, Fine Bone China, Dishwasher Safe.
These mugs were originally sold at Bed, Bath & Beyond stores nationwide and online between January of 2013 and April of 2019 for between $8 and $10 for the individual mug and $30 for the 4-piece dinnerware set.
At this time, consumers with these mugs are being asked to stop using them immediately. You can contact Lifetime Brands for a free replacement mug or mugs.
