Early Monday morning, a tractor trailer overturned on Interstate Highway 880 in Oakland. According to ABC News Channel Seven, the large truck crash happened sometime around 2:00 a.m. in the southbound lanes of I-880, near Hegenberger Road. The semi truck spilled diesel fuel onto the roadway, and it leaked into a creek near the scene.
The wreckage blocked multiple lanes, and hazardous materials crews responded to clean up the fuel spill. Very few details about this wreck have been released, and we don’ know if any other vehicles were involved or if anybody was injured in the crash.
