A Saturday evening crash has prompted the arrest of a Daly City resident. According to NBC Bay Area News, the fatal head-on collision happened on Highway 1 in Pacific at about 6:45 p.m. One of the drivers, 41-year-old Ana Reepen, has been taken into custody under suspicion of vehicular manslaughter and felony DUI.

The crash occurred in the northbound lane of Highway 1, just north of Crespi Drive. At this time, we don’t know if any other passengers were in the vehicles at the time of the crash, but both drivers were initially rushed to the hospital. The second driver did not survive the injuries sustained in the crash.
