Earlier this week, two people were killed and at least 18 were injured when a Greyhound bus crashed on Highway 101 in San Jose. Although very little information was released about this wreck, ABC Channel Seven News reports that the wreck happened on northbound 101 in the HOV lane at the northbound 85 carpool ramp. For unknown reasons, the bus overturned in the roadway.
The bus driver will be asked to submit a blood sample for drug and alcohol testing. Investigators will also look into whether or not a mechanical issue could have caused the crash. At this time, the apparent one-vehicle crash is still under investigation.
