Southbound Fremont Boulevard was shutdown after an accident with major injuries for at least three hours Sunday night, police said. The accident occurred at the intersection of Fremont Blvd and Warm Springs Road.
The Fremont Police Department issued an alert at 7:24 p.m. advising motorists to avoid the roadway while officers investigate the collision involving a motorcycle and a van.
No further details about the accident were immediately available.
Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the collision to call Officer Aranguren at 510-790-6800.
