Earlier this week, there was a major injury crash on Interstate Highway 580. KRON Channel Four News reported that the wreck happened sometime around 1:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning, just west of the Marina Bay. A Sig-alert was issued, and all westbound lanes of the highway in Oakland were closed until about 3:12 a.m. Very little information has been released about this apparent multi-vehicle crash involving major injuries.
There has been no word on the cause of this crash or how many people were injured. This crash could still be under investigation with authorities.
