A Milpitas man was killed last night in a three car pile up that on 101.
According to CHP Spokesman Officer Steve Griefer the victim was traveling at an unsafe speed as he entered Southbound 101 from Mathilda Avenue, failed to negotiate the curvature of the ramp and drifted into the #3 lane right in front of a semi truck.
Both the vehicle and semi truck then struck a third vehicle before coming to a rest.
The victim was taken to an area hospital and later pronounced dead. also suffered major injuries.
The drivers of the other two vehicles involved were not injured.
