Defective Products Putting Consumers at Risk
When large national and multi-national corporations put consumers at risk of injury or death, something has to be done. Conducting a recall is expensive and bad for business, and all too often, we see companies and manufacturers try to avoid or push off the inevitable. If a manufacturer is aware of a known problem with their products, they have a duty to inform consumers and remedy the situation. Unfortunately, the process can take months or years. During that time, more consumers are put at risk for injuries or death.
