Two lanes of southbound Highway 101 in Marin County were blocked this morning after a big rig truck lost it’s trailer when it detached according to California Highway Patrol.
The big rig, which was traveling south on the highway at approximately 6:00am became separated from its trailer near North San Pedro Road, blocking the two right lanes of the roadway, CHP Officer Kevin Bartlett said.
The lanes were reopened around 8:00 this morning.
While traveling to the scene, a CHP officer headed northbound on Highway 101 hit a wall bordering the roadway just after 6 a.m., Bartlett said. No injuries were reported in either incident.
